Model VIIa

DDL operated 4 different Fokker VII aircrafts between 1929 and 1946.
Registrations used were:

OY-DAC, OY-DAD, OY-DED, OY-DYF

In the collection 2 of the 4 aircrafts are represented.

Fokker VIIa OY-DAC

Construction number 5058. Manufactured 1927.
First registered with DDL 1928 as T-DOLB. Re-registered 1929 as OY-DAC.
Crashed in fog near Hannover the night of May 2 1933.

Construction number 5086. Manufactured 1927.
Bought from NV Nederlandsche Vliegtuigenfabriek in May 1929, registered as OY-DYF (previous registration was H-NAEM). DDL registered until 1945 when sold to Skåne Flyg, re-registered to SE-APR. Sunk through the ice at lake Ivösjön, near Bromölla in Sweden 1947.

Construction number 75.
Delivered new 1933. Built by Orlogsværftet under license from Fokker. In service until December 17 1945.

OY-DAJ is the aircraft to the left.

The aircraft in the middle is a British de Havilland 86 Express, registration unknown.

The aircraft to the right in the distance is an ABA Junkers JU-52, registration unkown.
